Converting camera-ready ads for a newspaper publication to put on my layout- do I save them as a .tiff, bitmap, or jpg? Newspaper printing- someone sends me a camera-ready ad in .pdf format do I save it as a .tiff, jpg, .bmp? I own a newspaper publication (30# paper) and I have several people that send me their camera ready ads in Microsoft Publisher and in .PDF format. Should I save their ad as a .tiff, bitmap, or jpg before pasting to my layout?? I keep getting very blurry and pixelated ads. Am I supposed to save it as a .tiff?? Most of my ads have picture & text. When I paste it to my layout it looks blurry. The ads & text do not look good at all and before I go to press, I want have to have a quality publication. Especially if these people are paying for ads.
