How do I save a Powerpoint 2007 file as a PNG, GIF or JPG?

I want to be able to save my powerpoint file as a picture file. I was told to go to the 'save as' tab, but the option isn't there. Do I need to change a setting or download something? What am I missing? THANKS!!
